A Story of Love, Hope and the Power of a Song

Sumner County Theater Company is thrilled to present Hadestown: Teen Edition, a powerful retelling of the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone.

Set in a haunting world inspired by American folk music and New Orleans jazz, the story follows young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice as they navigate love, hardship and the dangerous road to the underworld. Along the way, they discover what it means to hold onto hope - even when the odds seem impossible.

Bold, moving and filled with unforgettable music, Hadestown: Teen Edition gives young performers the opportunity to explore complex characters, powerful storytelling and a production unlike any other.
