Welcome to Sumner County Theater Company
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to be seen, supported and celebrated.
We believe theatre should be a place where young people feel safe to take creative risks, try something new and discover what they are capable of achieving. It should be a place where individuality is valued, friendships are formed and every student’s contribution matters.
Most importantly, we believe theatre can help young people find their voice and grow into the person they were created to be.
We believe every young person deserves a place where they feel seen, supported and celebrated.
We are a nonprofit youth theatre organisation serving students and families throughout Sumner County. Through performance education and live theatre experiences, we help young people develop their creativity, discover their confidence and experience the joy of being part of something meaningful.
Our mission extends far beyond putting on a great show. We are building a welcoming community where students can explore their talents, form lasting friendships and grow both on and off the stage.
What We Believe
What Makes Us Different
At Sumner County Theater Company, the quality of our productions matters—but the experience our students have along the way matters just as much.
We are committed to creating an environment where young performers are challenged to grow, encouraged to keep trying and loved for exactly who they are. Our students learn from experienced, supportive mentors while working together towards a shared goal.
The result is more than a polished performance. It is a community of young people who feel confident, capable and connected.
Our Community
Theatre brings people together. Our productions are made possible by the dedication of our students, families, volunteers, creative teams, sponsors and supporters throughout Sumner County.
Together, we create memorable performances, meaningful opportunities and a space where young people can shine.
